GARDENS HALL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- IS THE FACILITY OPEN YEAR ROUND? Yes
- DO YOU RENT THE HALL FOR WEDDING SHOWERS BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ETC? YES. Hall rental is available Mondays through Thursdays for 3-hour time periods. There are 2 slots each day being: 9 am to 12 pm AND 2 pm to 5 pm. Hall rental on Sunday is a 3-hour time period of 3 pm to 6 pm.
- MAY WE SET UP TENTS AND OUTDOOR GAMES? No. The outdoor area does not belong to the reception hall. Rented areas are confined to the inside hall and the patio. The Outdoor Wedding Gazebo may be rented for ceremonies.
- DO YOU CHARGE A FEE FOR US TO COME IN THE DAY BEFORE OUR EVENT TO DECORATE? There is no charge for wedding reception renters to decorate the hall on the day before the event. Decorating may begin the day before the event at 8:00 AM unless there is a scheduled morning party, then hours for decorating are limited to the span of 2 PM till 7 PM. On the day of the scheduled event renters may work on preparations and venders may bring in their products as early as 9 AM. There is no charge for shower or birthday renters to come in 30 minutes before and to stay 30 minutes after their scheduled 3 hour event for preparation and clean-up.
- DO WE HAVE TO SET UP THE TABLES AND CHAIRS FOR OUR RECEPTION? No, a "generic" set-up is provided which you may tweak .
- DO YOU CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL FEE BASED ON THE NUMBER OF MEALS SERVED? No.
- MAY WE SERVE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES? The Gardens of Heartland carries Dram Act Insurance for the use of alcoholic beverages. We do not retail alcohol--- you provide your own, whether it be mixed drinks, canned beverages or kegs. We limit the number of kegs brought in to 3.
- DO WE HAVE TO CLEAN THE HALL AFTER OUR EVENT? No, we clean the hall, but you pick up all refuse from your event, including table clothing and decorations you apply. Additional cleaning expenses are applied if the hall is left unreasonably dirty or trash is not removed.
- WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF HOURS WE MAY PARTY AT THE RECEPTION? Wedding reception rent covers 8 hours which includes time spent for ceremonies, if wedding takes place on site. Showers, birthday parties and similar celebrations rent covers 3 hours. No MEALS may be served at a 3-hour event and beer tap cannot be used.
