RECEPTION HALL

When elegance and grace are a priority, give the Gardens of Heartland a call.  

We're located just outside the Effingham, Illinois city limits. Not far from the Gardens you will find scores of hotels and restaurants.

Our hall can comfortably seat up to 300 guests.  The stained-glass-clad hall is equipped with burgundy fabric, padded chairs and has access to an enchanting, flower-box-encircled, covered patio.  The patio and surrounding flower gardens are owned and maintained by our sister company,  Heartland Greenhouses. 

The Gardens allows for the use of alcohol at a reception but does not sell it.  This is a cost saver as it is less expensive for you to furnish your own alcohol rather than to purchase it by the drink and through a hall.  A professional three-keg beer tap and self-serve can and bottle refrigerated unit are provided.  The Gardens of Heartland limits the number of kegs used at a reception to a total of 3. 

We do not charge for the use of a dance floor nor do we assess a per-plate fee on catered meals.  We supply at no charge a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and a long counter which is accessible to the hall.

The Gardens has  a list of rental items including  a 16' outdoor wedding gazebo, tablecloths, and decorations.  You are welcomed to do your own decorating  and there is no charge for you to come in the day before your event.  A contract and deposit is required to secure a date.
